How does a bee spend its life? Mostly, in total darkness within the nest. But for a few brief weeks, a bee encounters a world of light and color, of millions of flowers, of fragrances beyond our wildest imaginations. Bees fly. They sip nectar and snack on pollen. But they also dance, dig, sleep, sing. I want to preserve these fleeting moments.
My talks include many of these photographs. These photographs may not be used without prior permission. Instead, feel free to use photos on my iNaturalist page. For equipment recommendations and tips on how to photograph bees, see my post on How to Watch Bees.
